Family Photos

Tonny and Noud Jetten. The Netherlands, 16th of April 1952

Tonny and Noud were married for over 65 years. Tonny wasn’t allowed to wear a wedding dress as she’d been married before to her late husband Toon who had tragically died in a motor accident the year before.

Tonny and Noud received two letters from the Dutch Queen to congratulate them on their 60th and 65th anniversary. They passed away shortly after each other, they were both in their 90s.

Olga's father, Cesar, and bridesmaid Sylvia Garza, who was unrelated but a good friend of Olga, taken on April 24, 1949 at Olga and Jorge's wedding reception. This casual photo leads me to believe that Sylvia must have spent some time at the Fernandez home. They seem so comfortable with each other.
