It all started in Cape Town South Africa in 2008 when Reni (b.1987 The Netherlands) met her now husband Deon at a photographic studio whilst she was interning for her documentary photography studies. Their shared passion for travel and culture saw them soon travelling across the globe to capture wedding celebrations. After 9 years of shooting together Reni now captures most celebrations by herself whilst Deon still joins her on larger events.

Reni’s style is strongly influenced by the classic documentary film photographers.

She is also the founder of Counterpart Photos.
